  • Meagan Chevalier, Intern

Meagan Chevalier is a Therapist Intern and 2019 Master of Science Candidate in Marriage and Family Therapy. She provides therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Meagan utilizes various therapeutic interventions to treat children, adolescents, or young adults facing difficulties such as misbehavior, anger, anxiety or mood management, as well as couples and families experiencing relational issues.

Counseling Experience

Meagan has worked at Virginia Tech's Center for Family Services in Falls Church, VA where she was trained to provide individual, couple, and family therapy using a systemic framework. Meagan is also part of the clinical externship program at The Womenís Center in Vienna, VA where she provides individual, couple, and family therapy while gaining additional training in the areas of domestic violence intervention and cognitive behavioral therapy. Meaganís approach to therapy is strength-based, integrative, and client-centered. She takes care to utilize the therapeutic approaches that best meet her clientís needs and respond most cohesively to their goals.
