  • Amy Neumann LCSW

Amy Neumann is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She completed her Masters of Social Work degree from Catholic University. Amy provides therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families, and she specializes in using play therapy and expressive arts therapies. In addition, Amy also has a subspecialty in women's reproductive health issues with a focus on fertility and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).

Counseling Experience

Amy's counseling experience includes work as a clinical social worker and school social worker. She is experienced in providing individual therapy around issues of anxiety, depression, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, fertility, attachment, adoption, parenting, school phobia, trauma, divorce, and grief/loss. Amy currently leads groups throughout the DC metro area for first-time mothers through Parent and Childhood Education (PACE). Amy has conducted clinical assessments, provided crisis intervention, and facilitated therapeutic groups around mental health issues and social skills acquisition. Amy utilizes child-centered play therapy, expressive arts therapies, and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques in her work and is well-versed in working collaboratively with other professionals as needed
