  • Rachel Cheche, MS, Resident

Rachel Cheche is a Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy. She completed her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Virginia Tech University. She is also member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Rachel provides counseling to individuals, couples, families, and children who are experiencing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, life adjustment, behavioral problems, parenting, family conflict, and relationship distress.

Counseling Experience

Rachel worked at Virginia Tech's Center for Family Services in Falls Church where she was trained to provide individual, couple, and family therapy using systemic and experiential frameworks with clients. Rachel also completed her clinical internship at Creative Therapy Associates, gaining additional training in using play therapy techniques to work with children, as well as co-facilitating a men's process and support group. She completed another clinical internship at a residential substance abuse treatment center where she focused on integrating family members into the treatment of women working through trauma and addiction in an inpatient setting. Rachel's approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and empathic in order to meet people where they are and create a warm and trusting environment for her work with clients.
